A new addition to the homesead.

 This is Maple

The homestead has been given a beautiful female goat. My brother in law gave it to me. I'm sure he just needed to get rid of it and didn't want to feed it through the winter but she is beautiful.She is a one year old Nigerian Dwarf.  She is very tame and even made immediate friends with our Great Diane. I'm already dreaming of milking her and doing fun things with the milk. Right now I'm just glad to have her doing a bit of weed eating. We will be looking for a mate so we can have some kids come spring.
